# Casement Studio: Website Teardowns for local service businesses

Casement Studio is a one-person web design studio run by Wes Jones (15+ years designing for Fortune 500 brands and major agencies). It does three things:

1. **Website Teardowns** (the main offer, this page): a review of a local service business's website, done the way a new customer uses it, on a phone.

3. **Custom builds and setup**: custom sites from $3,000; template setup in 7 days for $950.

Who it's for: local service businesses anywhere in the US (trades, clinics, studios, photographers) whose website isn't turning visitors into calls, bookings or quote requests.

## How it works

1. **A free 15-minute walkthrough.** A quick screen share showing the two or three biggest leaks on your own site. No charge, no pitch deck.
2. **The Teardown, $900 fixed.** Every leak ranked by how directly it costs you calls or bookings, with the fix for each and a recorded walkthrough. Delivered in five business days. Credited in full toward implementation if you continue within 30 days.
3. **Fix it your way.** Hand the list to whoever runs your site, fix it yourself, or have Casement do it. You keep the list and the recording either way. No retainer, no monthly fee.

## What gets checked

The path from finding you to reaching you, on a phone:

- **Phone**: is the number visible as text on the first screen, does tapping it dial, are hours next to it.
- **Booking**: do Book and Schedule buttons open booking, or dial, land on the wrong page, or go nowhere.
- **Forms**: how many fields, which are required, where the form sits on a phone, whether a new customer can finish it.
- **Google listing**: whether Google Business Profile hours, phone, website and booking links match the site.
- **Mobile load**: how much a phone downloads before the page shows, and which images or scripts slow it.
- **First screen**: what a new visitor sees before scrolling, and whether it tells them what to do next.

## A real example: Nihar Photography

A family wedding photography business in Colorado Springs, and the first site put through a Teardown.

- **Google search title**: no city before; now "Indian Wedding Photographer Colorado Springs & Denver."
- **Inquiry form**: an embedded Google Form with a "Sign in to Google" banner, replaced by a native form with an instant auto-reply. The bot spam stopped.
- **Photo weight**: about 290 KB per photo, all loading at once, now about 205 KB with lazy loading.
- **First screen on a phone**: blank tiles until scroll, now the gallery fills in on open.

Results: too early for traffic or booking numbers. 30- and 90-day scorecards will be added when they're in.
